CBNって何?

CBN stands for Cannabinol and is a type of cannabinoid extracted from hemp.
CBN is produced when the oxidation of THC, which is a psychoactive action, progresses.

This means that when THC is heated or touches oxygen, it is converted to CBN.
This also means that hemp is dried and matured in large quantities without people changing hands.

In addition, CBN is said to be a cannabinoid that succeeded in separation for the first time through research.

Effect of CBN

Although we are currently in the research stage, we are considered to have the following advantages.

  • Anti-inflammatory action
  • Antibacterial action
  • Increase appetite
  • Relaxation of convulsions
  • Improve sleep quality
  • Analgesic action
  • Relief of joint pain and temporomandibular joint disease
  • Improvement of dermatitis

CBN is also said to have physiological reactions.

In experiments using mice to induce sleep by suppressing the active effects of the brain, CBN was used to slightly extend sleep time.

It is said to have an effect similar to diapazem, a chemical prescribed as a sleep introducer, and is expected to be a natural ingredient with little dependence.

It has also been found to have a slightly stronger psychoactive response than CBD, but much lower than THC.

Few products contain CBN?

CBN is a constituent that is formed when THC is heated. So products that contain THC in the full spectrum are not heated, meaning that CBN is less likely to be detected.

In the past, CBN has not been readily available on the market as an ingredient by itself due to inconsistent supply, and few machines have been able to focus on it.

However, some companies have overcome this problem in recent years, and it is expected that this unique ingredient will spread to the market in the future.

Combination with THC to improve sleep quality?

CBN is said to be more effective when combined with THC.

For this reason, products containing CBN are often labeled with phrases such as “sleep cannabinoid” and are said to be a great support for modern people who have trouble sleeping.
