Called pharmaceutical grade, CBD is perceived differently by specialists and researchers, product manufacturers and brands, and there are no clear standards. However, the following points are considered important

How CBD is produced?

From researching various sites, it appears that in the U.S., full-spectrum products are often referred to as pharmaceutical-grade when it comes to oral intake products. This is because full-spectrum products that contain THC, other cannabinoids, terpenes, and nutrients have been shown to have an entourage effect, which increases the absorption of CBD.

However, in the case of skin care products, the isolate process is used. Unlike ingestion, there is no anthropogenic effect when CBD is applied to the skin. For this reason, pharmaceutical-grade products for external distribution also use isolates.

CBD content

Most orally ingestible products used for taste, health maintenance, and cosmetic purposes have a CBD content of 3 to 5%, but for medical purposes, CBD concentrations of 10% or more are often used.

For example, when CBD is used for the treatment of intractable epilepsy, the dosage or about 500 mg per day is used. In clinical trials for other diseases, the dosage is said to be 300 mg per dose. This is about 10 times more than the recommended intake listed for use as a taste test.

Also, for skin care products, be careful with diluents. Many products are made from petroleum-based oils and other harmful and cheap ingredients. Choose pharmaceutical-grade products that are made with the most natural ingredients possible.

Reliable CBD Products

In recent years, a wide variety of CBD products have emerged, but you need to feel comfortable with them, especially for medical use. It is an absolute requirement to know the manufacturer, as well as where the hemp is produced, its THC content, and ingredient analysis tables.

Blue Botanicals CBD Face Cream is eligible for pharmaceutical grade and is safe to use for sensitive and red skin.

It is recommended for those who already suffer from skin problems, as it supports collagen production and antioxidant activity to support moisturized skin and boost immunity.
