Hemp and marijuana are both members of the same cannabis plant family.
To be more precise, they are both in the family of plants in the genus Asa, called Cannabis sativa.

So what are the differences between hemp and marijuana?

Contents

  • 1 Difference 1 THC content
  • 2 Difference 2 CBD content
  • 3 Difference 3 Purposes of use
  • 4 Hemp and Marijuana Usage Notes

Difference 1 THC content

One of the major differences between hemp and marijuana, and the criterion that separates them, is the “difference in THC content”.

Types of cannabis grassContent of THC
Hemp0.3% or less
MarijuanaUp to 30%

In other words, hemp contains very little psychoactive effect, and marijuana contains a lot of TTH.

Difference 2 CBD content

Hemp is a breed improved breed for Cbd extraction and commercial use.

Therefore, the content of CBD is overwhelmingly higher than that of marijuana, and it can be used for treatment and supplemental sense.

Difference 3 Purposes of use

As I mentioned earlier, Hemp has a wide range of industrial applications. Marijuana, on the other way, has been used as an illegal luxury item, mainly to suck smoke and get high. This means that CBD is intended to improve problems and diseases and maintain health, while marijuana is intended for psychoactive action.

Hemp and Marijuana Usage Notes

Hemp and marijuana have the main caveats mentioned above, but there are some things to keep in mind when using them. It is “how they are labeled”.

There are various descriptions of “hemp”, “cannabis”, “marijuana”, “marijuana”, etc. on the Internet, but some of them are misrepresented with incorrect nuances…

Hemp is originally a cannabis plant, but was dipped into the name to distinguish it from marijuana.

Although it is currently in the research stage, it is also said that there are differences in the effects of CBD extracted from hemp and marijuana.

Be sure to understand the differences between hemp and marijuana to help you choose the right product.
